Please note that following a review of the Business Performance Diagnostic (BPD)
by the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR), and
previous consultation with your RDA, the service will close with effect from
17:00, 31st March 2008.
Over the last couple of years usage of the BPD has declined markedly in spite
of efforts to promote its uptake, so the point has been reached where it is unviable
for the Department to continue to support it financially.
Other diagnostic tools are available, indeed many RDAs have developed their own.
The BPD was developed and delivered by Winning Moves

offer other diagnostic tools, as do other organisations.
We realise that this closure will be a disappointment to those advisors who use BPD
regularly and we regret the inconvenience caused.
The Business Performance Diagnostic is delivered throughout England by
Business Link Advisers and forms part of the Business Link
Information, Diagnosis, and Brokerage (IDB) core offer.
